No coding. No tech overwhelm. Just magic automations you can actually build with ChatGPT.
Let me guess:
You’ve opened ChatGPT, typed in a prompt like “write a caption,” or maybe even brainstormed some blog ideas… but part of you is wondering—
Can this thing actually do more? Like… real automation-level stuff?
Spoiler alert: Yes. It absolutely can.
And the best part?
You don’t need to know how to code, build complex workflows, or even leave the ChatGPT interface.
If you’ve ever wanted to dip your toes into automation (without diving into the deep end of tech jargon), this is your entry point.
We use an automation platform called Zapier (and use ChatGPT with it).

Today I want to pull back the curtain and show you the 3 ChatGPT automations that now run daily systems in my business and gives me that sweet sense of “omg I’m actually organized.”
💌 1. A GPT That Sends Emails For Me
Yes, it really does.
I created a custom GPT that—once trained with my tone, brand voice, and structure—can draft emails and send them using simple GPT actions. From replying to a client inquiry to sending my weekly newsletter, I just type in what I want, and boom—done.
Why It’s Amazing:
→ No more hopping between your inbox and ChatGPT.
→ It’s like having a copywriter and a virtual assistant rolled into one.
→ Emails stay on-brand, on-point, and consistent with my business voice.
This is perfect if email writing gives you decision fatigue or you just need to get it done without overthinking.
Step 1: Just Tell It What You Need (Casual Is Totally Fine)

In this first step, I’m simply typing out my request to ChatGPT like I would to a personal assistant.
No fancy formatting. No overthinking.
I let it know I want to send a casual collaboration email to Christel, even mentioning the time frame and that I already have her contact saved.
That’s it—ChatGPT takes it from here and starts setting everything in motion.
💡 You don’t need to sound like a robot to talk to ChatGPT. The more natural you are, the better it supports you.
Step 2: Let ChatGPT Do Its Thing

Once I gave the request, ChatGPT took over—searched my contacts via Zapier, confirmed Christel’s email, and even drafted a full message for me to review.
No formatting. No template building. No switching tabs.
It pulled the info, crafted the email, and made sure I had the final say before sending anything out.
It’s like having an assistant that never needs micromanaging.
Step 3: Just Confirm, Hit Send, and Let ChatGPT Handle the Rest

ChatGPT drafted the email, I gave it a quick glance, and with one tap—it was out the door.
But here’s the wild part:
You can also ask ChatGPT to search your inbox for a specific email and craft the perfect reply for you. No more digging through threads or second-guessing your tone.
✅ Need to follow up? ChatGPT’s on it.
✅ Forgot to respond earlier? Just say the word.
✅ Want it to match your voice? Already trained.
Your inbox just got way easier to manage—without you doing all the heavy lifting.
📅 2. A GPT That Books and Sends Calendar Invites
Here’s the thing: I used to dread setting meetings.
The back and forth, the timezone confusion, the calendar chaos? No thank you.
Now, I use a GPT I built to:
- Schedule meetings
- Send calendar invites automatically
- Confirm with a friendly, branded message
All from inside the same chat.
Whether I’m setting up a client discovery call, collab call, or reminder for a content planning sprint—it handles it.
Why It’s Life-Changing:
→ It saves time and eliminates human error.
→ You can set the exact language and steps once, and it just works.
→ It keeps you looking polished, professional, and totally in control.
Perfect if you’re juggling multiple hats (because let’s be honest—your brain doesn’t need to remember all the admin stuff).
Step 1: Just Say the Word—Literally

I needed to set up a collab call, so I told ChatGPT the basics: who it’s with, the date and time, and to send the invite via Google Meet.
That’s it. No switching tabs. No manually setting anything.
It immediately kicked off the sequence—confirming contact info and prepping the calendar booking behind the scenes.
You talk. It schedules.
The way it should be.
Step 2: Confirm and Let ChatGPT Seal the Deal

After I hit confirm, ChatGPT pulled the meeting details together and sent out the invite—location, time, and even the placeholder Google Meet link.
Zero bouncing between apps.
Zero manual calendar inputs.
Zero “ugh, did I forget something?”
It’s like having a virtual assistant who gets it right the first time.
Step 3: Boom—Booked & Sent

Just like that, the meeting’s on the calendar and the invite is sent.
No switching tabs. No digging through emails. No “wait, did I confirm that?”
All I did was give the instruction. ChatGPT (with my custom-built GPT assistant) handled the rest.
✅ 3. A GPT That Adds Tasks and To-Dos Into My Notion Dashboard
As someone who lives inside Notion, this one was a MUST automation.
I created a GPT that integrates with my Notion workspace using GPT actions. Now, anytime I have a new to-do, I just:
- Tell ChatGPT what the task is
- Include the deadline or category
- And it automatically adds it to my Notion task database
No more scribbling in notebooks. No more forgetting what I said I’d do. It’s in Notion, exactly where I need it—every time.
Why It’s Brilliant:
→ It bridges creativity and execution.
→ You stop losing momentum to “log this later” energy.
→ You can even have it sort by priority, assign deadlines, and more.
It’s like a project manager that actually listens.
Step 1: Add a Task—Without Opening Notion

I just told ChatGPT to add “create mini automation course” to my to-do list for May 15—and it got right to work. 📝
It pulled up my Notion database, drafted the task details, and got ready to send it off with one simple confirmation.
And yes… it even flagged that I forgot the start date.
Because even your AI assistant knows when your planning needs tightening.
Step 2: Clarify the Details (and Let ChatGPT Handle the Rest)

ChatGPT double-checked my input—because Notion needs a start and end date, not just a deadline.
A quick reply later, it locked in all the details, ready to finalize the task without me ever opening the app.
Step 3: Task? Logged and Ready to Go

That’s it! In just a few clicks, my to-do was added straight to Notion—no manual typing, no context switching, no friction.
Now it’s sitting neatly in my dashboard, scheduled and waiting.
Automation doesn’t have to be techy—it just has to work.
But Here’s What No One Talks About…
These automations?
They’re not just about clicking buttons or copying links.
They’re about clarity.
Because when you know your brand, your goals, and your audience—ChatGPT can build the automation you actually need.
You can literally say:
“I need to brainstorm on some ways we can automate our workflow. I need you to be my head of research. I’m planning to expand my business soon—focusing on automation. We need to research the openness, acceptance, and readiness of my ideal customer.”
And ChatGPT can generate ideas, outline potential workflows, suggest the right tools, and even write the backend instructions for your GPTs based on your business and audience—because you trained it to think like the business ally YOU need.
That’s why understanding the fundamentals matters.
When you learn how to train ChatGPT properly:
- It becomes your content creator and your research and automation strategist.
- Building GPTs doesn’t feel techy—it feels aligned.
- Automation becomes your strategy, not someone else’s template.
